Please checkout "SectorSurfer Creating Strategies (Part 2) for the detailed analysis of the 3 strategies developed in this video. Correction: The comment that I made near the beginning of this video regarding Don's symbols for strategy LMRIG-02 is apparently incorrect. All of the symbols are not "inverse" ETFs, several are "leveraged" ETFs. I will have to do further research on Don's second listing of symbols. For the purposes of Part 2 of this video, we will continue to use the "Kickass 2" strategy from the Hall of Fame" for LMRIG-02 strategy.

🔴SPY S&P 500 Trade Strategies Using SPXS Bear Inverse Index ETF
SPY S&P 500 Trade Strategies Using SPXS Bear Inverse Index ETF - The SPY is under the 10 day moving average. It made an attempt to move up today and sellers stepped in at the end of the day. The 3 day moving average is below the 10 day which is negative. The momentum indicators are mostly flat. We need to be ready to go either direction depending on what happens. The QQQ is also just hovering over the 3 and 10 day moving average. End of the month buying for mutual funds and retirement plans is holding the market up. The DIA is right at the 3 and 10 day moving averages. The Index funds bounced on Thursday after trying an attempt to sell off on Wednesday. The buyers took control in the for most of the day and then the sellers came in at the end of the day and took profits. When the market is entering a topping pattern, many times we will see this buying and selling take place. The big players are selling and they allow the market to come back up and they sell again to get the highest price. We may be developing a rectangular pattern where we go down to support and then buyers step in and we go back up to resistance. Then we go back down to support and back up again. This can happen three or four times until we break out either up or down. The momentum indicators are mostly flat. We have to be flexible and go with the direction the market takes us. The MACD is still in positive territory, so any move up can still be strong.

🔴Bear ETF Index Trade Analysis TZA Inverse Fund To IWM Russell 2000
Bear ETF Index Trade Analysis TZA Inverse Fund To IWM Russell 2000 5/25/2013 - The IWM had a big reversal day on Thursday. We use the TZA Bear ETF index fund to trade the market when the IWM is moving lower. The IWM gapped down on Thursday and buyers stepped in and drove the price back. We set a buy limit order and we bought TZA at the high of the day for IWM. Again on Friday, the market gapped down and buyers again stepped in. Sellers are usually away on Friday's, so the market did not go lower. We have a support line that needs to be broken to give us a sell signal.

🔴Bear Inverse Index Fund Trade Analysis and Trend Direction SPXS SQQQ SDOW TZA
Bear Inverse Index Fund Trade Analysis and Trend Direction SPXS SQQQ SDOW TZA 6/1/2013 - The Stock market is trending down now in both price and our market indicators. We now have sell signals in the DIA and SPY. We do not have an official sell signal in the QQQ or IWM, but we do have Bear Index Fund positions in all the ETF's we follow. The price indicator is now turning down in all of our index funds with the 3 day moving average pushing below the 10 day moving average in the IWM, SPY, DIA and QQQ. SPY and DIA broke below support with good selling volume. The momentum indicators are now turning down. The MACD is below the signal line, however it is still above the zero line. This pull back we are getting now, may only be a short term pull back. The DIA which is the ETF index fund for the DOW Industrials formed a strong bearish red candlestick ending the day near the bottom of the day. The DIA moved below support with selling coming in at the end of the day. Many times we can determine the mood of the market by whether there is selling or buying at the end of the day. We now have a sell signal on the DIA for the short term. Currently bought the SDOW @ $ 40.11. The momentum indicators are pushing lower now, with the Stochastic indicators moving down. We will watch these indicators to make sure we stay on the right side of this move down. Trend trading is all about being on the right side of the market. The QQQ pushed lower but has not broken support. We want to see a move below 73.25 to get a sell signal. We do have Bear Index fund positions now in the QQQ. Currently we have positions in the TECS @ $31.90 instead of SQQQ. I prefer the SQQQ. The SPY broke below the support on heavy volume. The price indicator, 3 day moving average is below the 10 day moving average. The momentum indicators are pushing down. We currently have positions in the SPXS @ $10.16. The IWM was down over 1% however it has not pushed below support. Typically IWM is leading the market down. The fact that IWM is not leading down, will make us want to be very cautious on the move down and be ready for a turn around in the market to the upside. The MACD just crossed below the signal line and the other momentum indicators are now pushing down, but have not reached the levels to give us a sell signal. We currently have positions in the TZA @ $31.13.

Mueller on Effects of Leveraged ETFs on REIT Shares
Glenn Mueller, professor with the University of Denver, joined REIT.com for a video interview at REITWorld 2013: NAREIT's Annual Convention for All Things REIT at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. Mueller discussed his research on the effect of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the volatility of REIT share prices. "Exchange-traded funds are not really a unique vehicle anymore," he said. "They're really a mutual fund that trades during the day as opposed to at the end of the day." Mueller said the rise of leveraged ETFs has impacted REIT share prices significantly. "We found that as these things grew, and especially as the market got more volatile back in 2007 and 2008, if the market had moved during the day—let's say 2 percent—by the end of the day, it would be up 4 (percent)," he said. "Each of these ETFs is trying to keep the same portfolio mix as an index, and if a couple of stocks move and others don't, they have to rebalance every day at the end of the day. Their demand for either selling or buying stocks created a double volatility that shouldn't have been there. They're a derivative product, they're unregulated and they've caused havoc in smaller areas of the stock market where the market capitalization isn't as huge." Mueller also discussed the implications of his findings for REIT investors. "I've always said that in the short run, the stock market is emotional, and in the long run, it's logical," he said. "If you go back and look at the return on REITs since we started the REIT index back in 1972, the return has been very good if you bought it and put it away. In the long run, they're solid companies investing in real estate. It's the best way for individuals to invest in real estate and have good professional management of a big, diversified portfolio of properties. Hopefully, we can do something to regulate these leveraged ETFs to help reduce that volatility." Mueller is a member of the faculty at the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management and the real estate investment strategist at Dividend Capital Group. By Allen Kenney

The Importance Of Daily Support And Resistance Levels | Rob Hoffman Trader
http://www.BecomeABetterTrader.com In this video: With all of these moves that we've been getting in the market a lot of people have been asking about potentially taking longer term positions in some of these stock indices. Now, a lot of people don't like to take long term positions in futures. For instance, on a spike down on the NASDAQ, looking for that bounce, a lot of people don't necessarily want to trade the future on that. This is because they are not comfortable with the risk. Fortunately, there are ETFs that will allow us to do this. Now many people know that standard popular ETFs. For the NASDAQ is the QQQ, for the S&P it's the SPY and for the Russell it is IWM. There are also inverse funds and leverage funds as well that we can use for our trading. For instance, the NASDAQ, to take short positions, one could buy the QID which is the ultra-short Qs fund. That moves an inverse to the NASDAQ as we can see here (on my chart at 2:50). As the NASDAQ has been moving up, QID has been moving down. The NASDAQ here made a speed line to 20 trade (on my charts at 2:59) and over here QID made a speed line to 20 trade in the opposite direction. That's one way that you can play these by using an ETF instead of the underlying futures contract itself. - See more at: http://robhoffmantrader.com/etfs-stock-index-futures-support-resistance-levels/ Rob Hoffman Trader and Educator is one of the most sought after professional traders available to the public. 🔴ETF Trade Updates QQQ IWM DIA TQQQ TNA UDOW Bull Funds Bounce in Market
ETF Trade Updates QQQ IWM DIA TQQQ TNA UDOW Bull Funds Bounce in Market - The TQQQ which is the bull aggressive fund for the QQQ or NASDAQ 100 retraced back up to the 38.2% Fibonacci level. It would be normal to go to the 61.8% level. If the market does not get over the 38.2% level and we start heading back down, then be careful and be ready with your Bear funds. The TNA which is the aggressive Bull Fund for the IWM ETF or Russell 2000, should at least retrace back up to the 40 area which is the 38.2 % Fibonacci level. If we cannot move higher than we are now, then be ready with your Bear Funds. We have a buy alert on the UDOW which is the aggressive bull fund for the DIA or DOW. If the market does not retrace past the 38.2% Fibonacci level on the way up, this is telling us this is a weak market and we can expect more selling.

🔴DOW Industrials ETF DIA Breaking Below Support
DOW Industrials ETF DIA Breaking Below Support. The DIA which is the ETF for the DOW Industrials broke below and held support today and is leading the Index funds down. The momentum and trend indicators are sliding down and if the selling continues, the market could be about have some negative days ahead. The DIA dropped below the support line today and held. IBM the heaviest weighted stock in the DIA is yanking this ETF down as it breaks recent lows. The QQQ is starting to look bearish after trying to break above the recent high then sinking below. Apple Computer has been holding the Q's up, but it may not be enough. Cisco Systems had a bad report after hours today and it is sinking close to 9%. That will have an effect on the Q's on the Thursday. The SPY is breaking down below the 20 day moving average now. We are bearish on the SPY at this time. If you have not bought the SPXU, now is the time. The SPXU is a Bear Inverse ETF that moves up when the SPY moves down. The IWM usually leads the market down. When the IWM starts to sell off big, the market will follow.

🔴ETF Trading Update QQQ IWM SQQQ TZA Bear Funds Technical Analysis
ETF Trading Update QQQ IWM SQQQ TZA 4/23/13 Bear Funds Technical Analysis - The current stock market trend is down, however we have had a nice counter trend bounce the past three days. We bought the 3X Bull funds UDOW, SQQQ and TNA with the expectation we would bounce back up to the Fibonacci retracement levels of .618. We took our profits today prior to the Apple earnings not knowing if the Apple earnings would be good or bad. The SQQQ had a gain of 9.8%, The TNA was up 7.8% and the UDOW was up 4.6% in the three days we held these shares. We took profits today on our 3x Bull Funds for the DIA, IWM and QQQ. We hit our target exits and in addition we did not know what kind of reaction to the Apple earnings we would get. I thought it would be better to take the gains and re-evaluate later on what to do. Since the reaction to the Apple earnings appears to be negative, we will start the Bear funds SQQQ and TZA. We want to see more selling and a break of support to continue the downtrend. There does seem to be buyers still out there, and we will have to watch the volume of selling if there is selling. Apple announced earnings after the market on Tuesday and the reaction was real cool. We will be watching the market reaction in the morning. We have earnings on Wednesday from EMC, MMM, QCOM, PG and XLNX. Durable Goods orders will be announced in the Morning on Wednesday. SQQQ - SQQQ is the 3X Bear fund for the QQQ ETF for the NASDAQ 100. We are looking for the SQQQ to move back up as the market moves down. We are looking to buy this in the 32.00 to 32.50 area. The TZA is the 3X Bear fund for the IWM ETF for the Russell 2000. We are looking to buy this in the 39.00 to 39.50 area. The QQQ 3 day moving average is about to break above the 10 day moving average. The stochastic indicator is starting to move up and has broken the signal line. We will be watching this closely to see if we break back down here or head higher.

ETF Stock and Bond Update SPY QQQ DIA IWM TQQQ TNA UDOW April 22, 2013 - This is the dailly stock and etf market update for 4/22/13. Trade the ETF 3X Bull funds for a profit. Learn when to buy and sell. Free technical analysis and discover all our buy and sell points. The SPY, IWM, DIA and QQQ are bouncing up after last weeks intense selling. Even though we are bouncing up from the lows, we continue to keep our bearish sell alert. Short term we are trending down and long term (Core Portfolio) we maintain our bullish alert with caution. Our current holdings consist of the TNA, TQQQ and UDOW. See the charts below. Our contrarian indicators showed we could have a bounce in the market. At this time, we believe this is just a bounce in the market and not the beginning of a bull trend. As we move up into resistance, we will be looking for a possible turn around. We are in the middle of earnings season and we should be ready for buying and selling. We own TQQQ currently and we area waiting for Apple to announce earnings on Tuesday and see the market reaction. We bought the UDOW on a pullback to 74.25. Our first projected target is the 77.00 area. If the market does not retrace past the 38.2% Fibonacci level on the way up, this is telling us this is a weak market and we can expect more selling. We also bought the TNA and are holding for a bounce. GE, IBM and Boeing were all down today. That is not good for the DIA. The QQQ is the ETF for the NASDAQ 100. We are bouncing back up into the resistance area. The earnings for Apple will be the next big piece of news for the QQQ. We want to be ready to the Bear funds if this market turns around.
