Homemade European Style Buttercream

06:03
κρέμα βανίλιας βουτύρου Get this recipe with exact measurements here: www.dimitrasdishes.com/recipes/european-style-buttercream Makes enough buttercream to fill and frost an 8 inch three layer cake or 24 cupcakes 1 pound unsalted butter, at room temperature 1 cup confectioner's sugar 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt For the Pastry Cream: 2 cups whole milk 4 tablespoons corn starch 3/4 cup sugar pinch of salt 4 large egg yolks, at room temperature 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream 1 and 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract Begin by making the pastry cream. It will be a major ingredient in the vanilla buttercream that will create a very creamy, rich, buttercream, much like French buttercream. The pastry cream can be made up to 2 days in advance. In a saucepan, bring milk and salt to a simmer over medium heat. In the meantime, combine the sugar, corn starch, cream and egg yolks in a large bowl and whisk together for a few minutes until thick and pale yellow. Slowly, pour the hot milk in the egg mixture one ladle full at a time while whisking. Pour the mixture back into the saucepan and cook over low heat, whisking constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Whisk well. Place the pastry cream into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow to cool to room temperature. For a quick cool, fill a large mixing bowl with ice and place the bowl with the pastry cream over the ice. Mix with a spatula every 5 minutes. The pastry cream should be ready to use in 15 minutes. If the pastry cream was made a few days ahead and is very cold, either microwave it at 10 second intervals until it reaches room temperature, or place it in a warm water bath. This can be done by placing the bowl with the pastry cream in a larger bowl filled with warm water. It is crucial that the pastry cream and the butter at the same temperature in order for the buttercream to be ultra smooth. Also, when the pastry cream is made ahead of time and is refrigerated it will thicken and seem hard. Beat it in a tabletop mixer until smooth or by hand. If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream and beat until smooth. Place the butter, salt, vanilla extract, and confectioners sugar in the bowl of a tabletop mixer. Beat until smooth and fluffy. Add the pastry cream to the butter mixture in 2-3 batches. Beat until, thick, creamy, and very smooth. About 3-5 minutes. This basic recipe can be used to make so many different flavor variations: Chocolate hazelnut buttercream: add 1/2 cup or more of your favorite chocolate hazelnut spread to the buttercream and beat to incorporate. Almond buttercream: Substitute 1 teaspoon almond extract for the vanilla extract Coffee buttercream: dilute 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules to 1-2 tablespoons water and add to buttercream. Beat to incorporate Fruit flavored buttercream: Add 1/2 cup or more of your favorite fruit jam to the buttercream and beat well to incorporate Chocolate buttercream: Add 12 ounces melted chocolate to the buttercream and beat well to incorporate The options are endless but, one thin is for sure. We have been using this delicious recipe at our bakery for the past 10 years and everyone loves it. It is velvety smooth, creamy, and delicious. Enjoy! "European Style" Tarantula Enclosures from Stamps (and Two Rehousings!)

15:28
These are not up on Stamps' website yet, but you can order them by emailing him from the site. http://stampstarantulas.com/ He will eventually be adding them to his site. Stamps Tarantula recently announced that they would be carrying the "European Style" tarantula enclosures that folks overseas use for their spiders. I had been admiring these enclosures since I saw them in The Spiderman's videos, and was bummed when I discovered they weren't available in the states. Now, thanks to Stamps, I would finally get to try these out. Although I resisted the urge to buy any at first (I really didn't need any new enclosures at the time) Theswimmingfox was nice enough to send me some photos of the ones she purchased. Of course, I ordered some later that week. Over all, I really like them. I was surprised that the "large" size was as shallow as it was, but I'm trying it out with my Phormictopus cautus violets, and I'll see how it goes. The stackability and hinged doors are both huge pluses, and the crystal clear covers are fantastic. I will say that for folks already using Sterilite, these might not offer enough "bang for the buck". Plus, the sizes are a bit limited. Still, they look darned pretty on a shelf... I'll definitely be grabbing some more.

first-rate Kitchen: eu-style redecorate A grand 1915-era mansion modeled after a sixteenth-century English Tudor citadel genubuiltintegrated needs a strong shot of way of life built-in relation to built-in design. but who virtually desires to hang out built-in a centuries-oldintegrated kitchen? no one, figured New Jersey kitchen dressmaker Jim Dove, who created an built-invitbuilt-ing kitchen suite with a sleek combointegrated of built-ing-edgeintegrated and duration elements for the 2012 showhouse at Glynallyn fortress integrated Morristown, New Jersey. “human bebuiltintegrated just like the peaceful first-class of clean, cuttbuiltintegrated built-inlbuiltintegrated but most of our clients stay built-in conventional houses,” says Dove, a kitchen clothier at Canterbury layout integrated Morristown. “It’s a piece of a balancintegratedg act to get the proper push and pull of colours, textures, and paperwork.” Dove and the Canterbury layout crew—Melissa Seibold, Scott Seibold, and Alison Griffintegrated—began with one huge room on the Mansion built-in may designer Showhouse, with the built-in integrated a visitor suite with kitchen. Binary Options trading Tutorial Make Money 400 Euro in 6 minutes

05:49
Sign Up now and make $ http://record.aff.bancdeswiss.com/_RIczRGKT_AcdHrf4TDP9mWNd7ZgqdRLk/1 $ In finance, a binary option is a type of option where the payoff is either some fixed amount of some asset or nothing at all. The two main types of binary options are the cash-or-nothing binary option and the asset-or-nothing binary option. The cash-or-nothing binary option pays some fixed amount of cash if the option expires in-the-money while the asset-or-nothing pays the value of the underlying security. Thus, the options are binary in nature because there are only two possible outcomes. They are also called all-or-nothing options, digital options (more common in forex/interest rate markets), and fixed return options (FROs) (on the American Stock Exchange).[1] Binary options are usually European-style options. When buying a binary option the potential return it offers is certain and known before the purchase is made. Binary options can be bought on virtually any financial product and can be bought in both directions of trade either by buying a "Call"/"Up" option or a "Put"/"Down" option. This means that an investor can go long or short on any financial product simply by buying a binary option. Binary options are offered against a fixed expiry time which may be e.g. 60 seconds and up to 30 minutes, an hour ahead or to the close of the trading day.[2] For example, a purchase is made of a binary cash-or-nothing call option on XYZ Corp's stock struck at $100 with a binary payoff of $1000. Then, if at the future maturity date, the stock is trading at or above $100, $1000 is received. If its stock is trading below $100, nothing is received. In the popular Black--Scholes model, the value of a digital option can be expressed in terms of the cumulative normal distribution function. Due to the difficulty in hedging binary options that are near expiry, they are much less traded than vanilla options, but can be approximated with vertical spreads.
