Accessing boot menu on PC
Twitter: https://twitter.com/itvraag Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvraag/ Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/itvraag When you power on the PC it goes through a sequence of boot devices, like HDD, DVD, USB or network. This sequence is determined within the BIOS settings of your PC. It's best to leave that as default in order to keep the start time to a minimum. If you want to start your PC from DVD or USB to for example install Windows, then you can access the boot menu. Install Windows 10 from USB (using ISO-file): https://youtu.be/cFCys-Hgl1c

My notebook in triple boot configuration: Windows 8.1, Windows XP and Ubuntu. If you enjoy the latest Windows capabilities, the speed and ease-to-use of the good old Windows XP and also the nerdy things that can be done with Linux, you don't have to choose an operating system, you can just have all of them.

How To Change Boot Order In Computer BIOS [For Beginners]
This tutorial demonstrates how to launch the built-in BIOS utility to change the boot order of your devices on your computer. If you are looking to set the primary boot device to a usb flash drive/stick or CD/DVD follow these steps. If you ever want to change these settings back, you can do so following the keyboard shortcuts located in the BIOS. Remember to always save your changes before closing out of the utility. To boot from a CD, DVD or USB device, make sure that the device has boot sequence priority over the hard drive. BIOS (Basic Input Output Subsystem) is a programmable chip that controls how information is passed to various devices in the computer system. A typical method to access the BIOS settings screen is to press ESC, F1, F2, F8 or F10 during the boot sequence. BIOS settings allow you to run a boot sequence from a floppy drive, a hard drive, a CD-ROM drive or an external device. You may configure the order that your computer searches these physical devices for the boot sequence. The first device in the order list has the first boot priority. For example, to boot from a CD-ROM drive instead of a hard drive, place the CD-ROM drive ahead of the hard drive in priority. Before you set boot priority for a USB device, plug the device into a USB port. To specify the boot sequence: 1. Start the computer and press ESC, F1, F2, F8 or F10 during the initial startup screen. Depending on the BIOS manufacturer, a menu may appear. 2. Choose to enter BIOS setup. The BIOS setup utility page appears. 3. Use the arrow keys to select the BOOT tab. System devices appear in order of priority. 4. To give a CD or DVD drive boot sequence priority over the hard drive, move it to the first position in the list. 5. To give a USB device boot sequence priority over the hard drive, do the following: Move the hard drive device to the top of the boot sequence list. Expand the hard drive device to display all hard drives. Move the USB device to the top of the list of hard drives. Save and exit the BIOS setup utility. 6. The computer will restart with the changed settings. 7. Boot Priority Options Some computer manufacturers allow you to select the device that contains the boot sequence from a special device selection menu. The example below uses a Dell system board. To set boot priority using a device selection menu: 1.When the computer starts to boot up, after the manufacturer's ID screen, press F12 several times. The device selection menu appears. 2. Use the up and down arrows to select CD-ROM or an USB Flash Drive. 3. To boot from the selected device, press ENTER. Note: Using an incorrect BIOS setting can cause a system malfunction. Please follow the BIOS guide provided with your computer motherboard. If you read these instructions and you are not sure how to change a setting, it is better to leave it as the default setting. This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).

Fujitsu A514 Lifebook No Boot
My Fujitsu A514 Lifebook is the first laptop I have bought that went bust in 7 days of buying. tried troubleshooting and that didn't work. tried reaching out to Fujitsu Global and they are shockingly clueless on their operations in India. I was referred to Fujitsu India website which had email address that bounces all emails. When asked for a contact number was given a number that was switched off at 4 PM on a weekday. This is all #Fujitsu had to offer. They probably will be calling up folks and asking for phone numbers to give to me. Any ways as I had bought this laptop from PayTM as a birthday gift to myself, I asked PayTM for sellers contact information to sort this out. instead of helping me out by simply giving the sellers contact details, PayTM took it upon itself to suggest I take the laptop to Fujitsu service centre with my invoice. A major reason for me buying this laptop even though it is a fourth gen i3 and not a fifth gen i3, without any OS is that it came with 1 year onsite warranty. Now I maybe out of touch with the terminology nowadays but in my time onsite warranty meant that a tech would visit my place. Sadly I have been communicating with PayTM as I wanted proof of communication. Does anyone know how to fix this without voiding my warranty? I do not think that PayTM or Fujitsu are going to be much help to me.

Everything worked great. In this tutorial we are looking at 2 different programs (kind of 1 really) "Plop Linux" LiveCD https://www.plop.at/en/ploplinux/downloads/live.html and "Easy BCD" http://www.techspot.com/downloads/3112-easybcd.html ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music:Kevin MacLeod Title: Klockworx Klockworx, Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Subscribe on YouTube Channel: http://goo.gl/EjTyOO Find me on FACEBOOK: http://goo.gl/op3TUZ Follow me on Google Plus: http://goo.gl/Uvauei Follow me on TWITTER: http://goo.gl/gz2V6G The BIOS on most computers list the USB boot option as USB or Removable Devices, but some of them list it as a Hard Drive option. The tutorial shows you example on the laptop and on the desktop computer. Insert bootable USB Drive in laptop and restart it. On startup, Access the "Boot Menu", by pressing a specific key on your keyboard: usually F12 or Esc, It depending on your Manufacturer. Anyway you can easily find it on startup screen. On this example my bootable USB, is listed as a USB Storage Device, select it and hit enter to resume startup. OK now let’s see example on the Desktop computer Same steps, Insert bootable USB Drive in desktop computer and restart it. On startup, Access the "Boot Menu", by pressing a specific key. You can find it on startup screen. Select Hard Disc and hit enter. So, on this example my USB, listed as a Hard Drive option. Select USB-HDD0 and hit enter to resume startup. If your system is older, you may not have a Boot Menu option. In this case you need to boot your USB device, by changing the settings in the BIOS. So, insert your USB, restart computer and press specific key on your keyboard, to get access to BIOS, usually it is Delete key or F2. Select Advanced BIOS Features and hit enter. First, check Hard Disk Boot Priority If your USB is not listed here as USB-HDD0 Go back by pressing escape key Select First boot Device hit enter and choose USB-HDD from the list,( It is a preferred boot method). BIOS and The Boot Menu Options
In BIOS you can tell your computer to boot an operating system located in a specific location. For example, if you have a live cd you can tell bios to boot from your DVD drive as appose to your hard drive. You may have an operating system stored on a flash drive, cd or several different hard drives in one machine. Your computers boot options will be automatically set to boot from the hard drive. When entering BIOS configuration zone you can choose the shortcut boot menu by observing your monitor at the earliest stages of powering on. The boot menu will tell your motherboard where to boot from. In advanced configuration mode, you can set your computers Boot Priority to always check the disk drive for a boot-able cd before you boot from your hard drive. This configuration is often used when an end user is experimenting with unfamiliar software. Try setting your BIOS options to satisfy your computing needs.
