The Truth about High School Exchange to Japan
Before I went to Japan, more people than I can count told me that it was going to be "the best time of my life". Well, guess what, it wasn't! And that's okay. I think many people (like myself) have rather wrong expectations when it comes to moving to another country, so here are some things I learned from the whole experience! ❤ Go on exchange to Japan (Geman-speaking countries only): https://www.intrax.de/kurzbewerbung-high-school?ixid=I-1151450 Ich habe meinen Schüleraustausch nach Japan 2015 mit Ayusa Intrax gemacht und tolle Erfahrungen sammeln können. Wenn ihr auch gerne einen Schüleraustausch machen möchtet, könnt ihr euch über den Link oben anmelden. Ich erhalte für jeden, der seinen Schüleraustausch über diesen Link bucht, eine kleine Provision von Ayusa. 😊 ❤ INSTAGRAM: sophierebi (https://www.instagram.com/sophierebi/) ❤ TWITTER: @sophierebi (https://twitter.com/sophierebi) ❤ FACEBOOK: Komorebi Cosplay (https://www.facebook.com/komorebicosplay/) ❤ MY GERMAN BLOG: https://sophiegoesjapan.wordpress.com/ ❤ CONTACT: [email protected]

Host a High School Exchange Student
There is still time to host an exchange student this fall.  Students from around the world are coming to America for the school year! Exchange students are 15-18 years old and attend your local high school for a semester or full academic year. Volunteer host families are carefully matched with students based on a number of compatibility ratings, such as activities and interests, country of origin, and gender.  Host families provide the student with an American family cultural experience.  The student, meanwhile, provides the family with an experience they will never forget.

Foreign Exchange Student's Opinion of America
Over the 2013-2014 school year I got to know one of my school's foreign exchange students from the Czech Republic. Matej was an awesome dude, and it was pretty cool getting to know someone who was literally from the other side of the world. Anyway, I thought it'd be cool to film an interview with him so I could see what he really thought of the US, so I did. Also, I made sure to film it on one of his last days in America so he would actually give his real opinions.

What is STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM? What does STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM mean? STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM meaning - STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM definition - STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. A student exchange program is a program in which students from a secondary school or university study abroad at one of their institution's partner institutions. A student exchange program may involve international travel, but does not necessarily require the student to study outside of his or her home country. For example, the National Student Exchange program (NSE) offers placements throughout the United States and Canada. Foreign exchange programs provides students with an opportunity to study in a different country and environment experiencing the history and culture of another country. The term "exchange" means that a partner institution accepts a student, but does not necessarily mean that the students have to find a counterpart from the other institution with whom to exchange. Exchange students live with a host family or in a designated place such as a hostel, an apartment, or a student lodging. Costs for the program vary by the country and institution. Participants fund their participation via scholarships, loans, or self-funding. Student exchanges became popular after World War II, and are intended to increase the participants' understanding and tolerance of other cultures, as well as improving their language skills and broadening their social horizons. Student exchanges also increased further after the end of the Cold War. An exchange student typically stays in the host country for a period of 6 to 10 months. International students or those on study abroad programs may stay in the host country for several years. Some exchange programs also offer academic credit.

SCHOOL FOR AN EXCHANGE STUDENT - nothing to do in New Zealand
SCHOOL FOR AN EXCHANGE STUDENT - nothing to do in New Zealand Wanted to talk with you about school today :P So there's lots of difference between school here in New Zealand and Austria. At first, school here is very easy and the stuff you learn here is pretty much the stuff we studied a year ago back in Austria. But also the way how they teach is different because they do lots of projects and teamwork stuff, not that much of frontal lessons. And of course the grades are different too and it's not really comparable to the Austrian grading system. Just watch the video ;) Follow me on my other socials: http://www.twitter.com/mathicious http://www.instagram.com/mathicious http://www.mathicious.tumblr.com Snapchat: mathicious For business inquiries: [email protected] Music: John Deley and the 41 Players - Loco (from the Youtube Audio Library) filmed with a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ10 audio recorded with an IPhone 5 Edited with Magix Video Pro X6

Why go on Exchange? ........Benefits of Exchange!
Give your students a true education abroad experience, the most enjoyable and by far the best way to learn is to do so on an immersion program. In this way, the students gets totally immersed in the language, community, culture and settings of visiting places, which greatly speeds up the learning process. This excellent learning opportunity typically leaves the student with better understanding for people of all sorts, and can really make young people feel as though they have become “Citizens of the World.” While on an International Exchange Program students have the opportunity to learn at an international school, experience another culture, immerse themselves in the language and become a member of the host family. I'm going to be an exchange student in Japan for 10 months starting in August 2017, I've spent the last 1-2 years finding and applying for this exchange which has been a struggle due to the lack of exchange programs for students in Britain!! So I'm here just to try to help anyone who's interested in going on exchange. I'm not fussed for views, subscribers or likes since I don't want to pursue YouTube as a career or anything. A Day in the Life of a Thailand Exchange Student
So, at a couple of your guy's suggestion, I decided to make a video of a day at school for me! ***Just as a disclaimer, this was a day in the life of Thai school FOR ME. Being in Thai schools, and being on exchange in general in Thailand is extremely different from person to person. So, don't take this as a situation that happens for everyone, this just happen to be the day that I filmed. Hope you all enjoy! Sorry about the video and filming quality, I tried my best without looking like a complete idiot all day ;) If you guys are liking what I'm doing on this channel, check out these amazing people: Brandon Francis: https://www.youtube.com/user/bleu1995/videos Angela McTigue: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPE3zi-IE3G1mT2lK5oKvtQ They're Thailand exchange students through the same program I am :) Watch the introduction video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pE8KnGbXQkA Blogs: http://365inthailand.tumblr.com/ http://www.ryeflorida.org/Students/OB/2013-14/Stephanie-Thailand.htm http://stephanie.studentsgoneglobal.com/
