Excel IF Formula: Simple to Advanced (multiple criteria, nested IF, AND, OR functions)

15:23
Learn how to use Excel's IF Function in your reports. We cover a few examples in this tutorial including: 1. Simple IF function (also with greater than or less than checks). 2. IF Formula together with AND logical test to decide outcome if more than one condition is met. 3. Nested IF formula (an IF inside another IF) to check for multiple criteria. 4. IF formula with OR function (to check if "either" condition is met and then decide the outcome). 5. We also take a look at using formulas (other calculations) inside the IF function and finally: 6. How to use symbols as the result of the IF formula Your IF formula isn't working? One of the main mistakes is the "else" argument. That's the last argument inside the IF function. Make sure you haven't forgotten to specify what should happen "if" the condition isn't met. In case you have more than one condition, here's the place to add the second "if" statement. An IF formula inside another IF formula is called a nested if function. 🡻 Download the workbook here 🡻 http://www.xelplus.com/excel-if-formula-simple-to-advanced/ ★★ Links to related videos: ★★ Conditional formatting symbols: https://youtu.be/875eK_x4nyQ Custom formatting symbols: https://youtu.be/tGY70sdpaLc ➹ ➹ ➹ My Online Excel Courses ➹ ➹ ➹ Excel VBA & Macros ► http://bit.ly/LeilaVBA Excel Dashboards ► http://bit.ly/LeilaDashboards Excel Charts ► http://bit.ly/LeilaCharts Advanced Excel ► http://bit.ly/LeilaAdvancedExcel Excel Waterfall Charts ► http://bit.ly/LeilaWaterfall 🕮 Recommended Excel books for beginners 🕮 * Excel 2016 for Dummies: https://amzn.to/2IRu77o * Excel 2016 Bible: https://amzn.to/2KujIEa ✉ Subscribe & get my Excel top 10 tips and formulas e-book for free ✉ https://www.xelplus.com/free-ebook/ * These are affiliate links, which means at no additional cost to you, we will receive a small commission if you make a purchase using the links. The 4 Most Important Financial Metrics

07:57
Financial metrics are the key numbers that you can focus on in financial statements. There are three financial statements, the balance sheet, the income statement and the cash flow that we like to look at to find important metrics. http://bit.ly/2xOCmRl Were going to look at some of the most important financial metrics that you as investors can use to evaluate a company. The first important number we look at on the balance sheet is liquidity. Can the company you’re looking at really cover everything that they need to cover in the next year? Or have they somehow overloaded themselves with short term debt and obligations that they could really run out of cash in the next year? In order to evaluate this, we want to look at the current ratio. Essentially it is a measure of working capital. It compares the current assets, which are assets that can be turned into cash in the next year, with current liabilities, which are obligations that have to be paid in the next year. What you want to look for when evaluating a company is a 2:1 ratio of liquidity to debt. Some companies are very well run that have a lower ratios than that, because they are controlling their cash very well, or they are in an industry that isn’t growing fast so they don’t need as much liquidity. These companies work their capital down so they don’t need as much cash on hand all the time and they can give that money to their shareholders. You will know that these companies are very well run because, they are really big companies. Most companies, particularly smaller companies need at least a 2:1 ratio between current assets and current liabilities. That’s a great measure of liquidity. We call that the liquidity metric. What is STATEMENT ANALYSIS? What does STATEMENT ANALYSIS mean? STATEMENT ANALYSIS meaning

06:17
What is STATEMENT ANALYSIS? What does STATEMENT ANALYSIS mean? STATEMENT ANALYSIS meaning - STATEMENT ANALYSIS definition - STATEMENT ANALYSIS explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ Statement analysis, also called investigative discourse analysis and scientific content analysis (SCAN), is a technique for analyzing the words people use to try to determine if what they said is accurate. Proponents claim this technique can be used to detect concealed information, missing information, and whether the information that person has provided is true or false. Related to statement analysis is a different technique for analyzing the words people use called "statement validity assessment" (SVA). The SVA is a tool that was originally designed to determine the credibility of child witnesses testimonies in trials for sexual offences. The "criteria-based content analysis" (CBCA) is a core component of the SVA and is a tool used to distinguish true statements from false statements as CBCA scores are expected to be higher for truth tellers than liars (). A qualitative review of the CBCA analyzed 37 studies, strong support for the tool was established as truth tellers obtained significantly higher CBCA scores compared to the liars (). More recently, a meta-analytic review found CBCA criteria to be a valid technique for discriminating between memories of real self-experienced events and invented or false accounts (). Countries such as Holland, Germany and Sweeden use these techniques as scientific evidence in court (). However, countries such as the United States, Canada and the UK do not consider these techniques as legally valid evidence in court (). Studies have raised serious questions and concerns about the validity of CBCA for assessing the credibility of children’s testimonies. One study using 114 children showed that CBCA scores were higher for the group of children describing a familiar event compared to the group of children describing an unfamiliar event (). The potential influence of familiarity on CBCA scores raises concerns about the validity of the tool for assessing credibility in children. It has also been noted that the error rate of CBCA in the laboratory is high, that the error rate of SVA in practice is unknown and that the methodology continues to be disputed among the scientific community (). In conclusion, there is still great controversy surrounding the use of the SVA and many studies have investigated its core component, the CBCA, in order to determine it’s validity and reliability. More research is needed to conclude whether or not the information obtained from these tests should be admissible in court. Proponents say statement analysis has proven effective as a police interrogation technique, but critics argue that it has not been subjected to objective analysis, with most of the studies failing to have used any outside criteria to confirm whether the statements were actually true or false. As it has not been proven experimentally and is generally unaccepted by courts, skeptics call it an example of pseudoscience. Statement analysis involves an investigator searching for linguistic cues and gaps in a subject's testimony or preliminary statements. Ideally, the technique would guide investigators to ask follow-up questions to uncover discrepancies. The creator of Scientific Content Analysis (SCAN), Avinoam Sapir, gives the example of someone saying, "I counted the money, put the bag on the counter, and proceeded to go home." Sapir says the statement was literally true: ....

At Amazon's Kindle Store... http://goo.gl/xobJFo WRITE AN A+ ESSAY: IT'S EASIER THAN YOU MIGHT THINK. I'm going to make a confession. I was a straight-A student in high school. I graduated summa cum laude from college. My senior thesis won the institution’s coveted essay-writing prize. Not thanks to raw brilliance, or dazzling talent. No, I knew how to write essays. You see, great essays aren’t necessarily written by the “best and brightest.” They're written by students who know the rules—from concept to thesis statement, from outline to final draft. Students who know how to get the best possible grade for the least amount of work. I’ll show you how you can, too. A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO CONQUERING YOUR NEXT ESSAY ASSIGNMENT My name is Jenny Sawyer. Over the past five years, I’ve been the girl behind 60second Recap®. I've invested thousands of hours helping teens understand classic literature. I’ve answered countless emails seeking help with essay assignments. I’ve guided individual students, one-on-one, through the process of crafting thesis statements and writing essays, testing and refining the techniques I used when I was in school. Strategies I employed to nail essay after essay. Most people think A+ essays require hours of hard work. Or genius. I’d always had a hunch they’d thought wrong. Now, I'm certain of it: YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A GENIUS TO WRITE AN A+ ESSAY I’ve read mediocre essays from brilliant students. Great essays from ordinary students. What sets those A+ essay-writing students apart? They know how to analyze the assignment to keep themselves on track. I’ll show you how you can, too. YOU DON’T NEED LONG HOURS TO WRITE AN A+ ESSAY The best essays rarely take the most time. In fact, some nearly write themselves. How? With the right kind of preparation: A+ essay-writing students organize their research and cut their workload by as much as half. I’ll show you how you can, too. FORMULAS ARE NEVER THE ANSWER, BUT... A+ essays are never formulaic. But they have a lot in commont. A+ essays start strong with crisp, provocative thesis statements. A+ essays support those thesis statements with well-chosen examples and tightly-reasoned arguments—the hallmarks of persuasive writing. A+ essays finish strong, with conclusions that locked the reader into agreement with the essay’s thesis. A+ essays are written by students working from a simple framework: the five-paragraph essay format. I’ll show you how you can, too. DON’T BE INTIMIDATED: IT’S A HEAD GAME, YOU KNOW Ready to supercharge your essay-writing process? You can when you “think like a prosecutor.” I'll show you how. I’ll also reveal the courtroom “trick” you can use to save yourself time and trouble while you craft a great thesis statement. You'll see how you can use the strategies of a criminal trial to speed you through each step of the essay-writing process, from the organization of your research, to the writing of your thesis statement, to the polish of your final draft. In this video we'll look at if statements. They allow the code to branch based on a condition. They can be combined together into complicated nested if/elif/else blocks. We'll also look at the comparison operators. I didn't mention in the vid but if/elif/else always follow the same order. They start with "if", followed by any number of "elif" and optionally a single "else" at the end. How to Use an Excel Data Table for "What-if" Analysis

06:43
An Excel Data Table is a great way to see the results of substituting two values in a formula. For example, to see what your monthly payment will be by changing BOTH the Interest Rate and the amount that you borrow. However, reading about how to set up an Excel Data Table can be confusing. Where, exactly, do you place the Row Inputs and the Column Inputs? Seeing how a Data Table is constructed is SO much easier. I invite you to watch this short Excel Training Video Lesson to see how to set up and use an Excel Data Table to analyze your data. You can find additional resources on my website: www.thecompanyrocks.com - I look forward to your comments.

Statement Analysis of the McCann parents by Peter Hyatt - PizzaGate background knowledge

02:15:15
My response correcting Peter Hyatt is here: https://youtu.be/IV7-m2A55TU Peter Hyatt is an excellent statement analysist. In any event, he errs in his analysis by concluding the parents killed Madelaine. He just is a too good person to assume them to have taken knowingly part in the abduction by pedophile rapists of their own daughter. Madeleine McCann disappeared 2007. Here in the Wikipedia u can see the police sketches of the alleged kidnappers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Madeleine_McCann Here you can see the official police sketches in comparison with offical images of the Podesta brothers. (Jonh being Hilary's campaign manager and now writer for The Washington Post - Tony being an art collector of child-torture images, reference as follows): http://victuruslibertas.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/cover-photo-small.jpg for later reviewing u might find this image by google-searching podesta+mccann Here, is the Tony Podesta child-torture reference - the official reference: https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2004/apr/20/usa.world This all leads to the Podesta brothers being in to child rape and child torture - as also cannibalism. Peter Hyatt is just to good to conclude this, frorm his statement analysis. His analysis just concludes the parents - McCann's having had "Guilty Knowledge". Subscribe for more updates! Like! Comment! Support my work by donating: (ways to anon-donate will be added) i am with the thinking, that while so many comments appear that seem to be of intelligent writers denying the podesta-mccann connection is pretty wired and smells like a disinfo psyop. u see, the mccanns were invited over to the mansion fo freud - a known pedophile. mr mccann even made strange pedophile jokes while with friends that got the friends to wonder whats wrong with him. the sketches match the podestas perfectly, even the birthmark of tony is on it, even if on the wrong side of his head. james alefantis whos name translates to "i love children" death threatened a youtuer for making a video about his secret art galery. he is part of a international arts group that is even alowed to ship over boarders "living art" which gives him the freedom of shipping whatever he wants to ship without being seen by any border authorities. the "lone gun man" shot a bullet through a wal that "accidentially" hit the hard drive where supposedly child pornography was being stored. this happened only a few days after a hacker hacked into comet ping pongs secret webspace and discovered child pornography for downloading on it. he reported it to the police and the FBI and provided a witness statement and this did not get investigated. with that knowledge alone - how can any sane ppl with their right minds say this is a conspiracy theory - if its not a psyop? this escapes my mind.

SUBSCRIBE Here the nesting of if-else condition in JavaScript is analyzed in depth. In this respect we would like to mention that nesting an if-else statement in JavaScript is not a suitable purpose in every senses - you cannot use return statement here, you cannot use break statement, hence closing the execution of certain block of statements could cause you a problem. It will be a wiser approach to use small blocks of separate statements of if-else condition without nesting it one into another. Here we have created two if-else statements one infused into another. How to Extract Data from a Spreadsheet using VLOOKUP, MATCH and INDEX

15:54
When you need to find and extract a column of data from one table and place it in another, use the VLOOKUP function. This function works in any version of Excel in Windows and Mac, and also in Google Sheets. It allows you to find data in one table using some identifier it has in common with another table. The two tables can be on different sheets or even on different workbooks. There is also an HLOOKUP function, which does the same thing, but with data arranged horizontally, across rows. DrupalCon Nashville 2018: Static Analysis for your Drupal modules with CI

27:51
Do you read your code before running to make sure it would work? Do you see if that variable was initialised, or if you included a return statement? Do you also see if the code follows Drupal coding standard? If you answered yes to any of the above, you are statically analysing your code in your head. But your brain doesn’t scale, nor are you capable of checking hundreds of lines of code with every commit. Use your brain for better things and leave static analysis to tools designed for that purpose. You might have used PAReview for your Drupal modules to verify that your code is clean and follows coding standards. It is easy to forget to run it before each commit. Do yourself and the poor soul who has to review your merge request a favour and automate! In this session, you will learn: What is static analysis? More about PAReview Why can’t you use PAReview in a CI environment? Tools like phpcs, phpmd, phpstan, stylelint, eslint, etc… Integrating these tools with gitlab with a Docker image designed for this purpose

Trend Analysis with Microsoft Excel 2016

03:21
Script Person 1: Hey buddy, how do you show a trend analysis on a line chart? Person 2: - Hey, it’s actually very simple and you just have to follow 3 easy steps. - First of all, you have to convert all the sales data into the appropriate formats. And then you create a chart and finally add a trendline. Person 1: - Oh really? Can you show me how? Person 2: - Of course! But before I do, which version of excel do you have? Person 1: - It’s 2016. Person 1: - OK, look. This is the data. The first column is the year and the second is the sales figure for that year. Person 2: - Okay, so the first thing we need to do is to convert all of the sales figures into a currency, in this case, dollars. - We can convert any set of numbers into percentages, time, date, or in this case currency by selecting the column and going on the top fo the page under the ‘numbers’ section and change it to currency OR alternately just pressing Ctrl+Shift+$. - Now that we have the currencies, we select all of the columns and rows that we want to display in our graph, by selecting them using the mouse or alternatively, selecting a single cell and pressing the "Ctrl" and "A" keys simultaneously to select all the adjacent cells with their data. - Excel has many charts and graphs options but in order to show a trend line, we need a line chart. - In order to pick line chart, go to the insert menu ribbon and select line chart. - Excel will automatically generate a line chart based on the values selected, however; we are not quite done yet, we need to add the trend line and to make it more coherent. - Now select the line chart generated by excel, and click on the plus sign on the upright corner of the chart. - Check the “trend line” box. - It will prompt you to check where you would like the trend line to be, in this case, you would pick the sales data set as you want to know the trend on the sales data. - Now you see a trend line was added to the chart and in the legend You can keep the legend if you want or remove it by unchecking the legends box in the same menu. - You can even change the design and color of the chart (if you'd like) by clicking on the chart and going over the Design ribbon under “chart tools”. - Finally, you can add a title to your chart and you are done Person 1: - Oh wow, it is great. but how do I include the sales figure for each year on this line chart? Person 2: - You need to click on the chart and click on the plus sign on the upright corner and check the “data table” box. Person 1: - What would I do without you! Thank you so much, man! Person 2: - No worries.

How to Write a Rhetorical Analysis Essay

03:21
Transcript: Today, I will be going over how to write a rhetorical analysis essay. This is an essay to expect if you are taking the AP Language Exam. To start with, you want to make sure you have a solid understanding of what some rhetoric strategies are. This will make it much easier in the actual process of writing the essay, as it will be easier to identify which strategies the author uses. Next, before you write a rhetorical analysis essay you must understand what the purpose of this type of essay is. The purpose is to analyze and explain the rhetorical devices used in the essay through their writing and persuasion tools by the writer in an attempt to interact with their audience. Remember, that you do not need to take a position on a controversy in this type of essay. Continuing on, when you write one of these essays, you will be given a sheet of paper with a short statement of background information and context and a passage that will be about one page long. The statement on top will have information such as who wrote the essay, when it was written, and the author’s purpose. Then, you will want to read the passage. As you read, keep an eye out for any rhetorical devices you find the author uses in their writing to try to convey their point. This is where knowing your rhetoric devices will be useful, as they will be much easier to identify. It’s also helpful to keep the author’s purpose in your mind, as that can often help you to notice devices that you may not have identified yet. The next step is to create an opening sentence. You want to write something that will catch your audience's attention, but still makes sense with the rest of your essay, and won’t be a drawback by distracting the audience. Along with this, you will want to add a few sentences of context and background information into your opening paragraph. Most of this information can be found in the statement on top of the passage. You can also include external information if you have any info that you think pertains to the essay. You will then want to write your thesis. You should have several strategies that you identified in the essay ready to write about in your thesis, laying out what persuasive tools used by the author you are prepared to analyze in your coming body paragraphs. After you complete your intro, you will be ready to move on to the body paragraphs. Remember to only analyze one rhetoric device per paragraph, otherwise it can become overwhelming for the reader. You will want to include an example of a rhetoric device used by the author, usually followed by a quote containing that snippet of the writing. Follow this with an analysis of why the author chose to use this specific persuasive tool to attempt to convince their audience and how it impacts the audience. In your analysis, make sure to tie it back to the author’s purpose and meaning as that’s a strong indicator of why they may have used that tool. Another reminder is to try to make sure to use transitions that flow nicely with your writing. To end your essay, you will want to include a conclusion. It is not required to include a separate conclusion paragraph. Do not feel like you have to put in this paragraph if you do not feel it will add anything new to your essay. If you think it will work best, you can conclude at the end of your final body paragraph. Your conclusion should reiterate the author’s purpose of their writing through the devices you previously analyzed. Congratulations! You now know the formatting for writing a rhetorical analysis essay! Make sure to brush up on your rhetoric devices and you’ll be all set for the essay! Good luck!

Cost-Volume-Profit analysis to determine the break even point / chart in Excel by Chris Menard

08:01
Need to find your break-even point and chart it in Excel? Chris Menard walks you through finding your contribution margin and break even in units and creating a chart. The contribution margin is a company's sales less its variable expenses. Then, divide the company's fixed costs by the contribution margin. This will give you the company's break-even point in total dollars of sales. I train the Executive MBA students from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. The CVP and break-even chart was a request from an MBA student during one of my training sessions in Atlanta, Georgia. JFK Secret Societies Speech (full version)

19:44
Was JFK's comment on "secret societies" a statement against the "NWO"? I searched this famous quote and finally found the full unedited written transcript and audio of this speech. JFK was actually talking about current events of the cold war and how nontraditional enemies were gaining information on how the US was battling this war. In this speech JFK actually points out "the need for far greater "official" secrecy"...as well as "the need for a far greater public information". JFK admits "I have no easy answer to the dilemma that I have posed," but also states, "and would not seek to impose it if I had one." This a major difference from where todays elected officials stand. *Address, "The President and the Press," Before The American Newspaper Publishers Association, 27 April 1961, is pubic domain content.* http://www.jfklibrary.org/Asset-Viewer/Archives/JFKWHA-025-001.aspx http://www.jfklibrary.org/Asset-Viewer/Archives/JFKPOF-034-021.aspx Illuminati: Origins of Secret Government http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA5KB0NPTxE

Awesome Live Blood Cell Analysis With Bemer Pro ⚡ || Reaction Video

20:26
Did you know? Life lies in the blood and knowing where you are at with a live blood analysis can help you visualize what’s really going on a cellular level. This awesome live blood analysis and Bemer session was done with two experts on the subject. The main benefits of Bemer Pro includes: - Improves nutrients into cells: When you are eating right, using whole plant food supplements, and hydrating properly then this process will also be greatly improved. You've probably heard the saying, garbage in, garbage out! - Improves oxygen into cells: When your cells are moving and blood flow is increased then your cells will get the oxygen they need to operate optimally in your body. When your red blood cells are working more productively, then your mind, organs, and rest of your body becomes more productive too! - Improves cellular waste removal: When things stay stagnant then that's when waste starts to pile up and accumulate in your blood vessels (think landfill). Bemer helps with improving circulation so your organs of elimination can get that stuff filtered out. How to use Bemer Pro for best results: - Alkaline water: Drinking at least half your body weight in ounces each day is going to be a good starting goal. This will also help with blood flow, but the Bemer really helps to get things moving and drinking enough water each day will make sure that your lymphatic system can get things cleared out properly. - Eat more live whole plant foods: These include more greens, fruits, and vegetables so that your body can repair an regenerate from the inside out. Choosing organic, non-GMO, and 60-80% raw plant foods is ideal. Doing green smoothies, soups, salads, and healthy main dishes and desserts using recipes is the key to success! - Cut out or eliminate processed foods: These foods are very acidic and do not promote a healthy environment within your body. In fact, they actually destroy your endocrine system which controls your metabolism, appetite, and hormones. In Summary: Even if you think you are “healthy” you could still have a lot of stuff in your blood that you didn’t expect, I know that’s true for me! Combing a live blood analysis and Bemer therapy are a great way to improve your blood flow, increase nutrient absorption, increase oxygen absorption, and remove cellular waste. ***Next Steps*** Send me a message to learn about any of the things above Disclaimer: The information contained on the Lance McGowan YouTube channel and videos are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter.
