Sorry I talked so fast in the into, oops. Either way, the Culture Victory is a big part of Civilization VI, yet few people actually know how it works! Domestic Tourists, Foreign Tourists, Culture, and Tourism are the main parts that make up a typical culture game. In this video, I go over the various in-depth mechanics and formulas that govern the parts of the culture victory. I hope you learn something ! Sustainable Safety Leadership - Safety Culture Improvement - Safety Training Video

03:51
Sustainable Safety Leadership - Safety Culture Improvement - Safety Training Video Never miss a new safety video! Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=safetymemos You have established a workplace safety culture that reduces accidents, back injuries, slips, trips and falls, forklift incidents, chemical incidents, spills, and controls the associated hazards. In order to make your workplace safety culture sustainable, you must develop leaders among your people. Everyone has to be responsible for safety, but often have to be nudged and encouraged to achieve shared goals. Safety team leaders help establish goals and give everyone feedback on the progress. But the goals should be positive, not negative. Rather than saying we should "stop accidents," we should work toward making safety a value in every process. This turns a negative goal into a positive one. In this video, we explain the three essential fundamentals needed for a sustainable safety improvement process. People want to work in a safe environment; many need to be nudged or coached into understanding how to help others follow safe work practices. Those who can communicate and reward performance become the leaders needed to maintain the goal of a bottom-up safety culture. Cultivate leadership and communication skills among the people in your organization, and you will build support for a safer workplace. This video applies to any workplace, including hospitals, warehouses, retail, manufacturing, offices - anywhere. Selfie Culture - MGTOW

11:55
"Hey Sandman, as a man my life has been like watching Plato's shadows on the wall. I just found the MGTOW movement for the first time and realize that I'm not alone. As a writer, I have written things that may help you think about our situation a little differently. They were published in 2010. Please Enjoy. The two articles I shared with you are called "Why its ok to hit and abuse men" and the second one is called Valentines Day for men. As a man that has a column in Seattle and Los Angeles and lives and works in both places, I can say solidly that Los Angeles, Chicago and New York have the worst pool for women. I have spent time in other countries and when women from those places come to the United States it's like an infection what they pick up from women here. I am also twice divorced to some great women that only respect me when I am gone. Anyway, getting to my request, please write and warn people about NPD or narcissistic personality disorder. If you have not run into one of these then consider this a alarm bell ringing. The problem is this behavior is often considered normal by society. Keep up the great work Highest regards, cheers!" Thanks for your comments and question David. For anyone interested I'm adding the articles you have written into the description below so they can have a peak for themselves. With regards to narcissism I've already done a video in the past called Female Narcissism and it's the third link down in the description. So instead of just discussing the general increase in narcissism in our society I want to focus specifically on selfie culture & how it relates to narcissism. The earliest form of the selfie was when artists painted their self portraits. Many classical artists only painted a handful of self-portraits during their careers. It wasn't until the mid nineteenth century with the creation of mirrors and the advent of photography that people could worship their own form. Before that if you wanted to see an images of yourself you'd have to look at a reflection in water or be wealthy enough to afford an artist to paint a painting of you. Yes there were also mirrors in the ancient world but they were expensive and crude. Silver on glass in 1835 changed all of that and before that it was probably only the upper class and upper middle class people that could afford the technology to feed their narcissism by gazing at themselves. The mirror was a selfie that existed only when you stood in front of the mirror with light shining on you and it could only show you in real time. Think of today's phones as mirrors that capture your mirror image and store it for you to share or alter. Equestrian's Library: The Culture of the Horse

09:41
We begin exploring the articles collected in the book The Culture of the Horse: Status, Discipline, and Identity in the Early Modern World which is edited by Karen Raber and Treva J. Tucker. I had the good fortune of discovering this publication while browsing my university's bookstore soon after its release. In this episode I discuss the article written by Karen Raber, which examines William Cavendish's treatise on horsemanship as a political document as much as an equitation guide. I must make a correction and fill in some information that I left out of the video. First, Professor Raber is still at the University of Mississippi, so if you're a student there please sign up for one of her classes. Second, William Cavendish was restored to his rank and land along with Charles II's restoration to the throne. The book is still available through re-sellers, though with such a limited printing by Palgrave MacMillan, you may have to hunt for an affordable price.

Persian Culture - New Year Celebration and Traditions

04:12
Persian New Year (Nowruz) is the biggest celebration of the year. In this video , Amir and his wife are getting ready to celebrate Nowruz. Cultural Note: Nowruz, in word, means "New Day". It is the new day that starts the year, traditionally the exact astronomical beginning of the Spring. Iranians take that as the beginning of the year. This exact second is called "Saal Tahvil". No-Rooz with its' uniquely Iranian characteristics has been celebrated for at least 3,000 years and is deeply rooted in the rituals and traditions of the Zoroastrian. Iranians consider Nowruz as their biggest celebration of the year, before the new year, they start cleaning their houses (Khaane Tekaani), and they buy new clothes. But a major part of New Year rituals is setting the "Haft Seen" with seven specific items. In ancient times each of the items corresponded to one of the seven creations and the seven holy immortals protecting them. Today they are changed and modified but some have kept their symbolism. All the seven items start with the letter "S"; this was not the order in ancient times. These seven things usually are: Seeb (apple), Sabze (green grass), Serke (vinager), Samanoo (a meal made out of wheat), Senjed (a special kind of berry), Sekke (coin), and Seer (garlic). Sometimes instead of Serke they put Somagh (sumak, an Iranian spice). Wheat or lentil representing new growth is grown in a flat dish a few days before the New Year and is called Sabzeh (green shoots). Decorated with colorful ribbons, it is kept until Sizdah beh dar, the 13th day of the New Year, and then disposed outdoors. A few live gold fish (the most easily obtainable animal) are placed in a fish bowl. In the old days they would be returned to the riverbanks, but today most people will keep them. Mirrors are placed on the spread with lit candles as a symbol of fire. Most of the people used to place Qoran on their Sofreh (spread) in order to bless the New Year. But some people found another alternative to Qoran and replaced it by the Divan-e Hafez (poetry book of Hefez), and during "Saal Tahvil" reading some verses from it was popular. Nowadays, a great number of Iranians are placing Shahnameh (the Epic of Kings) of Ferdowsi on their spread as an Iranian national book. They believe that Shahnameh has more Iranian identity values and spirits, and is much suitable for this ancient celebration. After the Saal Tahvil, people hug and kiss each other and wish each other a happy new year. Then they give presents to each other (traditionally cash, coins or gold coins), usually older ones to the younger ones. The first few days are spent visiting older members of the family, relatives and friends. Children receive presents and sweets, special meals and "Aajil" (a combination of different nuts with raisins and other sweet stuff) or fruits are consumed. Traditionally on the night before the New Year, most Iranians will have Sabzi Polo Mahi, a special dish of rice cooked with fresh herbs and served with smoked and freshly fried fish. Koukou Sabzi, a mixture of fresh herbs with eggs fried or baked, is also served. The next day rice and noodles (Reshteh Polo) is served.
