ABOUT CIVILIZATION VI: GATHERING STORM
The second expansion to Civilization VI introduces an active planet where geology and climatology present unique new challenges. Chart a path to victory by developing new advanced technologies and engineering projects and negotiating with the global community in the World Congress on critical issues. The choices you make in the game will influence the world ecosystem and could impact the future of the entire planet. Natural disasters like floods, storms, and volcanoes can pillage or destroy your Improvements and Districts – but they may also refresh and enrich the lands after they pass.

What do you think of the gameplay features in Civilization VI: Gathering Storm? What features are you most excited about in the expansion?
I dont need natural desasters, the abysmal graphics, color saturation and lack of coastal benefits are already haunting my every game. burry this mess, hire a good art director and focus on a solid civ 7 based on the balance, mods and graphics of civ V.
super civilization extension 6 just misses a button to stop the arrival of new citizen as the city's prduction button it would be more comfortable for the game also misses a hopital for a new neighborhood
I was thinking how to improve Civ 6 when I came across the idea of a Pueblo civ who could settle mountains and have the ability to have tiles on mountains as well as allowing troops to move through them.
I dont need natural desasters, the abysmal graphics, color saturation and lack of coastal benefits are already *haunting* *my* *every* game. burry this mess, hire a good art director and focus on a solid civ 7 based on the balance, mods and graphics of civ V.
I really appreciate that they add more future technologies, so you couldn't end up with this stupid Nanotechnology in lategame of civ5! I hate whenever I reached that point in game where science points start contributing to your science victory. That's why after civ5 I developed a habit of playing the scenario with science victory turn off.
Call it what it is... Paywalls Sid Meiers is just like EA, making new expansions that adds a minor addition to the game, that could litterally have been in the base game. Nothing new, nothing outstanding, and you dare throw up multiple PAYED DLC content walls throughout every new Civ game, not to mention all the microtransactions for all the minor dlcs.
Researching environmentally-friendly power sources... does it come with the caveat that those power sources are much less efficient than normal? Because if this game it going to continue to try be somewhat realistic, that is the current state of green energy production.
Regular maintenance to keep nuclear power plants from exploding... maybe for early ones, but since Chernobyl, there are so many safeguards built in the odds of one exploding like a nuclear bomb is next to nill. Also as far as I am aware, nuclear power plants don't emit ANY carbon emissions; they're more of a glorified steam generator really.
so... the afsluitdijk isent a nieuw world wonder. to bad, and i would have liked to see some tings done with the kingdom of the Netherlands. you know the country theta has almost half of its land under the see level. but thet could just be a bit of nationalism. but still to bad thet he master of the water didn't get any improvements. like where ever there is a flood the dutch are there (if we know about it and got asked). but you know beggars can't be choosers.
I'd give anything to have sanctions, embargoes, foreign aid and coups to happen! I am really digging the nature side of things, but I am a complete diehard for real in-depth diplomacy and economic side of things. Looks like I will be sticking with Civ IV still.....oh well, I still enjoy playing it!
The Sea Level feature needs to be massively patched... There is no functional way to avoid having Level 3 flooding, even if I produce NO power, the rest of the Civs produce enough that in most games, it hits Level 2 or 3 even before Oil Plants are researched. And Nuke Plants, not only is their production of CO2 is a complete disregard of reality, but the fear-mongering around meltdowns is sickeningly ignorant of the technology that needs to be embraced in order to turn around our current issues.
Climate change needs to be MANAGED - and these scare-tactics and mis-information are doing a massive disservice.
Stay away from this giant steaming pile of shit! These people no fuck all about memory management garbage collection. Each game is crap shoot as to whether the end game state will grow to point of overload and collapse. Even on high end machines this a problem.
Of course you won't know this is a problem till 300-500 turns in or HOURS of fucking game play.
Absolute garbage code!
So far the game adds Globalization, man made climate change and removes Nationalism and so far any sort of Religious Units (so far at least I wasn't able to build any?). World voting. CO2 climate 'change'. Carbon Emissions and such. Sigh. Why not just name it , "SJW revision DLC".
Next expansion they will introduce liberal civilizations where everyone is trans. It will come with a new game mode “Liberalism”. In this mode you start with an advanced civilization but because of the civilization’s socialist views, it’s a race to the bottom. The first to Venezuela (destroy) their civilization first and send them back to the Stone Age is supposed to be the winner but due to Liberalism, they get nothing, that’s because in this new mode everybody is a winner! Participation trophies for all players.
I have written 3 times to your support and still have not received any answer or help!!!!!!!! I have the world congress bugged, couse I can't send my votes on any resolution. This is the link of the video I have sent 3 times to your assistance (2 times to Italian one and 1 time to the USA one), it shows the bug - even if it is in italian I'm sure you will see the problem
As you can see I can't select any civilization I've met before and I can't select my one. Also where I haven't to select the civilization and I can select my votes, I can't send them at the end of the resolution. Also sometimes I do not even know about what we are going to vote couse it doesn't show me the argument of the resolution.
I apologize for my bad english, but I'm waiting a week someone's answer and I hope you will answer me, couse I have spent a lot of money for this DLC (!!!!!!!) and can't still play normally, a week since the game comed out.
I have already upgrated all drivers on my pc, and I have already reinstalled the game. It hasn't help me. There are some others that have this problem. Not many but they are (I have found them on a forum on steam while they were discussing about this bug).
Please do something as soon as possible. I want to play online with friends but for this bug I can't do it!!!!!!!!!!!
I am new to such games...can anybody clear that what is difference between civilization VI edition and expansion packs. If I buy edition will I get this newly added scenarios or I have to buy expansion packs later..or I can just buy expansion pack and not the edition?
Sucks there are so few techs in the future and they're always the same, 1 improvement, 1 project, and a bunch of military upgrades killing military balance so the endgame is only GDR vs. GDR combat. At least with stacked bonuses the normal top-line units can damage a GDR in friendly lands but it takes a few armies and you have to pray it doesn't run away with its eventual 8 movement.
Trust me on the army vs GDR thing, I put everything into it to take out a 12 GDR raid from Norway, luckily the AI didn't get the siege gun upgrade until it was too late for him so I didn't lose a single city (they do almost no city damage otherwise). With every defensive bonus I could stack my mechanized infantry army did a little more damage than a GDR on offense, yes they were also high level.
Personally disappointed in the era but the expansion is good.
Every world leader, and members of congress/senate/parliament should be made to play Civ 6 before they are eligible to run for their office and have their play-through made available for the public to review. At least we would have evidence that they have some inkling of geopolitics before they irreversibly destroy the world.
Fuck off with you CO2 and climate change bullshit! I want Civilization, not political correct Al-Gore scam simulator!!! Unsubbed & burning my copy. If I want disasters and stupid storms destroying my gameplay, I play simcity! You are ruining CIVILIZATION forever with this crap!!!
Portfolio management is the art and science of making decisions about investment mix and policy, matching investments to objectives, asset allocation for individuals and institutions, and balancing risk against performance. Portfolio management is all about determining strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the choice of debt vs. equity, domestic vs. international, growth vs. safety, and many other trade-offs encountered in the attempt to maximize return at a given appetite for risk.

Portfolio Management Tips for Young Investors.
One of the reasons most often given for not investing is a lack of knowledge and understanding of the stock market. This objection can be overcome through self-education and step-by-step through the years because investors learn by investing. Classes in investing are also offered by a variety of sources, including city and state colleges, civic groups, and not-for-profit organizations, and there are numerous books aimed at the beginning investor.
Early Higher Risk Allocation.
An Exemplary Egg.
The idea is to select stocks across a broad spectrum of market categories. This is best achieved through an index fund. Aim to invest in conservative stocks with regular dividends, stocks with long-term growth potential, and a small percentage of stocks with better returns or higher risk potential.
Certain AAA-rated bonds are also good investments for the long term, either corporate or government. Long-term U.S. Treasury bonds, for example, are safe and pay a higher rate of return than short- and mid-term bonds.
Keep Costs to a Minimum.
